For more than 100 years, Pompeian, Inc. has had the privilege of calling Baltimore home. We care deeply about the people and places that make up this vibrant City – that’s why we want to give back to our hometown in a powerful way. To demonstrate our passion and commitment to our City, we launched The Olive Branch Project.

The Olive Branch Project engages in different programs that are designed to support the Baltimore community. These programs, as highlighted below, work in collaboration with the overall goals of The Olive Branch Project by creating ways to build a better Baltimore. During the next 10 years, Pompeian will donate $1 million to the City through The Olive Branch Project, with a focus on initiatives designed to enrich the lives and well-being of local citizens.

The Living Healthy Program
Born out of our belief in leading a healthy life, we established The Living Healthy Program to empower the City’s youth to lead healthier lives. We’re committed to building a better future for Baltimore, and through the program, we want to give kids the tools and knowledge they need to make healthier choices every day.

In partnership with Penn North Kids Safe Zone, a Baltimore-based nonprofit, we developed an after-school program that shows kids how to make healthier choices in their foods and in life. To help prepare kids for their future, the program also provides participants with the opportunity to visit Pompeian’s facilities to learn about manufacturing and potential career paths.

Classes meet on a monthly basis and cover topics ranging from how to make a nutritious meal to what it’s like to work in manufacturing.
