Grilled Mini Beef Pizzas

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Pompeian Grapeseed Oil
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves
  • 1/2 pound New York strip steak, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 10 mini pita breads
  • 2 plum tomatoes, cored and sliced
  • 5 tablespoons Pompeian Premium OilvExtra Mediterranean Blend Oil
  • 8 ounces mozzarella, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices
Preparation
1. Heat grill to medium-high heat. Thread beef onto skewers and brush with Pompeian Grapeseed oil. Grill for about 3 to 5 minutes or until cooked through; set aside. When cool enough to handle, remove beef from skewers and roughly chop.
2. Brush pita breads with 2 tablespoon of the Pompeian Premium OilvExtra Mediterranean Blend Oil, then top with 1 slice each tomato and mozzarella. Divide basil leaves among pita breads.
3. Stir together remaining 3 tablespoons Pompeian Premium OilvExtra Mediterranean Blend Oil, garlic and pepper; drizzle over top of pita breads. Divide beef among pita breads and serve immediately.
