Meet Manuel A

AS A CHILD, MANUEL
WOULD STARE IN AWE AT
THE OLIVE TREES.

"I'd see them full of olives and know we'd all be very happy that year,” he says. In fact, he's been enthusiastically visiting these trees for as long as he can remember. “I used to ride a donkey as a child," he says with a grin. "Over time, he'd be able to take me out to the olive trees without me having to guide him."

A FARMER HIS WHOLE LIFE, MANUEL'S EXISTENCE "HAS ALWAYS REVOLVED
AROUND OLIVE TREES."

He explains that "it's all I've ever known. My entire family has always worked in agriculture." His favorite tree can be found in the grove known as La Povedanas. "I planted it when I was younger," he says, "and I brought it up to be the great tree it is today."

After work, Manuel usually hangs out with his coworker Antonio. "I love him because he tells jokes all day," he says. They'll often take long walks through the farm to soak in the nature.

"I ENJOY WATCHING THE OLIVE TREES GROW BIG
AND STRONG THANKS
TO OUR HARD WORK."
