Meet Francisco H.

FRANCISCO FIRST BECAME ENAMORED WITH FARMING AS A CHILD and he still takes to the fields with palpable relish. “I wake up every morning feeling hopeful because of my olive trees," he says. Immediately after getting out of bed, he always heads straight to the kitchen. "Eating a good breakfast every morning is essential. I always go for toast dipped in extra virgin olive oil along with my coffee,” he says,

"I PERSONALLY LOVE TO HAVE
OLIVE OIL DURING BREAKFAST, BECAUSE IT GIVES YOU
ENERGY ALL DAY LONG."

Francisco feels a tremendous sense of freedom as he makes his way through the groves. Out in the field, his son Bruno has proven to be Francisco's righthand man. “He's very sweet and always brightens my day. And he's always there to help solve any problem."

Twenty years ago, Francisco planted his favorite olive tree. "It grew tremendously fast," he says, “and it bears lots of olives every year. I'm grateful for the opportunity to cultivate these beautiful trees and nurture such ripe olives.”
