HOMEMADE
LIP BALM
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Tablespoons Pompeian Organic Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 ½-2 Tablespoons beeswax pellets
- 4 drops peppermint essential oil (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Create a double boiler by adding a small amount of water to a small pot and then place a heat-safe bowl on top of the pot. Turn on the heat to medium-high. As an alternative, use a microwave-safe bowl and the microwave to make the lip balm.
- Add the olive oil and beeswax to the heat-safe bowl.
- Melt the mixture until fully liquid. If using the microwave, use 30-second increments until fully melted.
- Remove the bowl from the heat. Add the essential oil, if desired.
- Carefully pour the lip balm into containers.
- Store for up to 6 months.
Tip: For a softer lip balm, use 1 ½ Tablespoons of beeswax.
SOOTHING
BEARD OIL
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Tablespoon Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon jojoba oil
- 1 Tablespoon argan oil
- 3 drops tea tree oil
- 20 drops black pepper essential oil
- 12 drops bergamot essential oil
- 1 drop vetiver essential oil
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all ingredients in a small vial and shake well before using.
- Drop a small amount on hands and massage into your beard.
MOISTURIZING
HAND SOAP

- 1/4 c unscented castille soap
- 1/2 c water
- 15 drops grapefruit essential oil

- 2 Tablespoons ground coffee

SOFTENING
FOOT SOAK
INGREDIENTS
- Warm water, as much as needed to fill the soaking bowl
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 1-2 teaspoons Pompeian Smooth Extra Virgin Olive Oil
DIRECTIONS
- Pour warm water into a soaking bowl or tub, large enough to fit both feet.
- Add juice from both lemons to the water.
- Submerge feet in the water and soak for 20-30 minutes.
- After soaking, pat feet dry with a towel.
- Pour olive oil into your hands and massage over your feet to moisturize. The combination of lemon juice and olive oil work to soften and moisturize.
Tip: For extra softening, add ¼ cup of salt or Epsom salt to the water.
MAKEUP BRUSH
CLEANER
INGREDIENTS
- 1-2 pumps dish soap
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all the ingredients in a flat bowl.
- Dip each brush into the mixture.
- Massage and squeeze the bristles of the brush to remove the moisture.
- Using a towel, pat the brushes dry.

- ½ banana, mashed

- Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl and mix well.
